I know that disc decompression sounds kind of crazy. Also when you are on the decompression machine it doesn't feel like it is really doing anything. It certainly is not an inexpensive treatment to try on a whim.
But here's the deal. It actually works. Maybe not for everyone and every problem, but for people like me with a herniated disc who doesn't want to undergo a 3rd back surgery it has been a life changer. For 6 months I tried medications, met with my surgeon who said my only hope was spinal fusion surgery, but we could try an injection to see what would happen.
I found Dr. Hall and his staff because they are near my office and I was willing to try something very different that was non-invasive. For 3 weeks I thought it wasn't going to work. 6 treatments and no results. Then all of a sudden the disc sucked in just enough material to relieve the pressure on the nerve.
It has now been probably 3 months and I'm back to living a normal life. No I'm not deadlifting 100lbs, but I can work and play with my kids.
